Cancellation/Refund Policy

Live Seminars:

If a student withdraws up to 7 days before the start of the class, the student shall be entitled to a full refund of the tuition charged and paid for the class.

If a student withdraws between 6 days and 24 hours prior to the start of the class, the student shall be entitled to a full refund of the tuition charged less a cancellation fee of $300 for prelicense classes and $25 for continuing competency classes.

If a student withdraws within 24 hours prior to the start of the class the student shall be obligated for the tuition charged for the entire instructional program and shall not be entitled to any refund.

A student that purchases and attends the live pre license seminar can sit in another live class within one year from the original date of purchase at no additional charge.  If a student wishes to attend another live seminar after one year from the original date of purchase a $150.00 tuition fee is due prior to attending the course.

If a student misses time during the live seminar they are allowed to make the hours up online with a fee of $40.00 per credit hour. 

Books and Materials:

Payment for books and materials shall be fully refundable prior to the start of the class as long as they have not been used.

Books purchased are eligible for a return within the first 14 days of purchase providing the books are still in original wrapping.  There is a 20% restocking fee on book orders that are returned. 

Online Pre License Courses:

Online course are eligible for a refund within the first 30 days of purchase providing the course has not been started.

Michigan Pre-License Online Courses - The refund will be less $60.00 for the workbook and shipping fees. Due to the fact that we are constantly updating the workbook we can not issue refunds for the workbook.

Test Preparation Policy:

After using our builders license exam preparation online course, we will refund your money on the purchase of our exam preparation course if you fail to pass the test on your first try. We are confident you will find our exam preparation material easy to use and the closest thing to the real test.

Procedure for filing a complaint with the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA):

In accordance with the Proprietary Schools Act you have the right to file a complaint against any proprietary school.
